Reading the news

Someone pointed out that I hadn't made a post here in awhile.....which got me thinking that this is a perfect place to scribble my thoughts, and I SHOULD and NEED to do it more often. Its seemingly a much more effective way in working through thoughts and my occasional loneliness. If I find it somewhat difficult to share my passions and loves on a daily basis...I guess I can share it here to a few readers and strangers who may pass by.

Looks like I'll be getting some traveling done in the coming months, which is sometimes a great thing, sometimes its a curse...depending on where you go. Not so hot when you're in Flint, MI or Houston, TX...but quite excellent when I hit the Northeast in the non winter months, with friends to see along the way living in MA. California is spectacular and look forward to getting out there soon, hopefully in the next month or so....Southern CA is always a fun trip with fine dining, beautiful scenery, and above all else...the great movie theaters. Nothing like catching an old silent film with an actual live orchestra playing along for a whopping 8 bucks, or catching that one film you've always wanted to see on the big screen at some old time revival art house cinema. While fun....a week anywhere with only a few conversations a day can sometimes take its toll. A traveling companion would be great for this trip!

I'd like to get up to N. CA and Oregon by the end of the year, somewhat of an untapped area for business and my own personal enjoyment. I hear the wine is fine, and the views are beautiful. And, a bucket list item for me would be driving along the coast(obviously in a convertible) for hours with the perfect playlist.

Well, that's about it for now.....I'm looking forward to making this a regular occurrence.

  2. A convertible! Nice touch. One of your bucket list items is something I do almost every other weekend. You're welcome to join me sometime.
